# Use the Compliance Dashboard and Score

## What This Does

This guide explains how to read the compliance dashboard and understand what drives the compliance score.

## Steps

1. Open the compliance dashboard.
2. Review the top-level metrics.
3. Check the current compliance score.
4. Review supporting areas such as:
   * objective progress
   * evidence coverage
   * approval completion
   * certification activity
5. Identify the areas that are holding the score back.
6. Open the related records and resolve missing work.

## What Happens Next

The score improves as:

* more evidence is attached
* more approvals are finalized
* more objectives progress toward completion

## Tips

Use the score as a decision aid, not as a replacement for reviewing the underlying records.
