What This Does

LoopIQ Analytics turns software-delivery data into dashboards, metrics, predictions, and operating reviews. It is built for engineering leaders, release managers, platform teams, compliance teams, and anyone who needs to understand delivery health and what to do next. Analytics is not only a reporting surface. It also supports:
  • default dashboards for core delivery views
  • custom dashboards for team or program-specific reporting
  • saved metrics and custom charts
  • plain-English SQL generation with approved schema guidance
  • prediction center forecasts
  • operating review packs
  • review artifacts with owners, due dates, and status tracking
  • configurable Test Automation Analytics dashboards and a governed report catalog
  • external-resource event, mapping, freshness, and OpenText evidence analytics
The Analytics sidebar organizes work into:
  • Overview and default dashboards
  • Operating Reviews
  • Prediction Center
  • Test Automation
  • External Resources
  • Semantic Model
  • Custom Charts
  • Metric Library
  • Settings, for authorized administrators
Available entries depend on your Analytics role and organization subscription. Keep the same organization selected when moving between the core platform and Analytics.

Core Analytics Areas

Default Dashboards

LoopIQ ships with built-in dashboards such as:
  • Overview Dashboard
  • Developer Productivity
  • Sprint Risk Timeline
  • Team Risk Heatmap
  • Release Burndown
  • Object Relationship
These dashboards are designed to give a starting point for delivery, quality, release, and relationship analysis.

Metric Library

Metric Library stores approved reusable metrics. These can be used in custom charts, dashboards, and operating reviews. LoopIQ can seed a starting catalog of metrics, including SDLC, compliance, and readiness-oriented metrics.

Custom Charts

Custom Charts lets users:
  • create charts from saved metrics
  • combine multiple metrics into a single saved chart
  • write SQL directly
  • generate SQL in plain English
  • review approved tables and columns while building a query

Custom Dashboards

Users can create dashboards, add widgets, rearrange widgets, share dashboards with teammates, and manage who can view or edit a dashboard within the same organization.

Prediction Center

Prediction Center shows risk-oriented forecasts such as:
  • release slip prediction
  • incident risk after release
  • approval or compliance breach prediction
  • sprint spillover prediction
  • defect escape prediction
  • team capacity risk
  • customer impact risk
  • control drift prediction
Each prediction can include:
  • risk score
  • confidence
  • likely causes
  • recommended actions
  • score engine information
  • drill-down dashboard links

Operating Reviews

Operating Reviews packages live delivery signals into review-ready views such as:
  • weekly engineering review packs
  • release readiness review
  • compliance and evidence review
  • executive portfolio review
Users can promote findings from dashboards or saved charts into review artifacts and assign ownership for follow-through.

Test Automation Analytics

Test Automation Analytics provides role-specific views for executive posture, execution reliability, coverage and traceability, evidence and governance, test-asset health, maintenance health, and provider or environment performance. The report catalog covers governed execution, dataset iterations, migrations, requirement-aware assertions, evidence integrity, failure categories, schedules, frameworks, providers, and environments. Teams can also create and maintain test-automation dashboards in Analytics rather than relying on a fixed report page.

External-resource intelligence

External-resource intelligence reports synchronized resources, connections, staleness, products, resource types, mapping governance, and the external event pipeline. When OpenText data is available, it also shows security, privacy, threat, and network-observability evidence by domain, governed release mappings, trends, and Helix or agent signals.

How Analytics Connects to the REST of LoopIQ

LoopIQ Analytics works best as the decision layer across the platform:
  • project and delivery data informs sprint and release health
  • test and quality data informs defect and coverage trends
  • compliance and certification data informs readiness and breach risk
  • AI and prediction services add risk forecasts and explanations
  • review artifacts turn insights into accountable action
