Use this process when an idea has been approved and is ready to become planned delivery work.Steps
- Open the approved idea.
- Review the final problem statement and expected outcome.
- Decide what delivery items are needed.
- story

- issue
- milestone or release planning item
- Create the related work item from the appropriate module.
- Add the idea reference to the new work item.
- If your process supports explicit linking, link the work item back to the idea.
- Update the idea status to reflect that planning or implementation has started.
- Add a comment noting the downstream work created.
What happens next
The idea remains useful as the upstream record for:- why the work exists
- who requested it
- how the decision was made
- which delivery work fulfills it
