Use AI Agents and Agent Settings
What this does
This guide explains how admins and advanced users work with AI agents in LoopIQ, including agent settings, available agent types, and safe rollout practices. Before you begin
Make sure:- your organization has access to AI features
- your role has permission to use the AI action
- you know which workflow the agent is meant to support
- any required integrations or credentials are already configured
Common AI-assisted workflows
LoopIQ AI can support workflows such as:- idea analysis and duplicate checks
- acceptance criteria drafting
- work breakdown and estimation
- risk and dependency review
- test scenario drafting
- incident or service request summarization
- Performance Intelligence
- Release Compliance Dossier preparation
- release readiness and governance review
Steps
- Open the AI agents or agent settings area.
- Review the available agents and their purpose.
- Select the agent you want to configure or use.
- Review settings such as:
- enable or disable
- model or provider selection
- input sources
- output destinations
- workflow or approval boundaries
- Save any configuration updates.
- Run a safe test with a small, non-critical example.
- Review the output and confirm it matches expectations.
- Expand usage only after the test behaves correctly.
What happens next
Teams can then use agents to support research, analysis, drafting, workflow acceleration, operational assistance, or compliance preparation inside approved areas.Tips
- Start with low-risk use cases first.
- Keep a human review step for actions that affect customers, compliance, or production changes.
- Document which team owns each agent configuration.
- Do not paste secrets, customer-sensitive data, or cross-organization data into prompts unless the workflow is explicitly approved for that use.
