Integrations Setup Checklist
What this does
This checklist helps administrators plan and validate integrations before enabling them broadly. Before you begin
Make sure you know:- which organization owns the integration
- which teams will use it
- who owns the external system credentials
- whether the integration affects production, compliance, security, or customer data
- how success will be verified
Recommended setup process
- Identify the business workflow the integration supports.
- Confirm the external system owner.
- Create or collect the required credentials.
- Store credentials using the supported secure configuration flow.
- Configure the integration in LoopIQ.
- Test the connection with a small scope.
- Review logs, sync results, or returned status.
- Confirm data appears in the expected LoopIQ area.
- Document the owner and maintenance process.
- Expand the integration to the intended team or organization scope.
Common integration categories
Source control and delivery
Use these integrations to connect repository, pull request, release, deployment, and engineering activity to LoopIQ work records. Examples may include GitHub and CI/CD systems.Security and code quality
Use these integrations to bring security findings, code quality posture, and remediation context into governed delivery workflows. Examples may include SonarQube, Checkmarx, and GitHub security signals.Documents and knowledge
Use these integrations to connect documents, policies, evidence files, and knowledge sources to LoopIQ records. Examples may include Google Workspace, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, and document sync providers.Cloud and operations
Use these integrations to connect operational context, infrastructure signals, observability data, and cloud-managed resources to LoopIQ workflows. Examples may include Google Cloud and Datadog.AI, telemetry, and agent platforms
Use these integrations to connect AI-assisted workflows, model telemetry, prompts, evaluations, or governed agent actions. Examples may include OpenAI, Langfuse, Codex, and LoopIQ MCP.Integration data and tenant safety
Integration records should be associated with the correct organization. Imported documents, repository signals, security findings, cloud signals, and observability events should not be visible across organizations unless an explicitly authorized cross-organization admin workflow exists.Validation checklist
After setup, verify:- the integration is associated with the correct organization
- credentials are not visible to unauthorized users
- test sync or validation succeeds
- imported or linked data appears in the expected module
- automation rules that depend on the integration still behave correctly
- users without access cannot see restricted integration data
Troubleshooting
If an integration does not work:- Confirm organization context.
- Confirm credentials are active.
- Confirm the external system allows the configured callback, token, scope, or API access.
- Re-run validation or test sync.
- Review any returned error message.
- Contact the integration owner or support if the issue persists.
